Four questions that pick the right tool

Work down this list and stop at the first tool that answers yes.

  1. Is a student going to touch it? If yes, that is a policy question before it is a tool question, and September 2026 is a bad month to guess. A worked example: a grade 9 unit on portraiture

Here is how the six divide across one unit, written as a plan rather than a report of anything that happened.

The unit is six weeks, grade 9, self-portrait in graphite, ending in a class exhibition. Roughly 28 students, one 50-minute period a day.
